Lazy Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 qt. cucumbers
    1 c. mustard
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. pickling salt
    2 Tbsp. pickling spice
    1 gal. vinegar
Preparation
    Wash and examine cucumbers.
    If small, use the whole cucumber. If large, cut into strips.
    Pack into glass jars.
    Mix mustard, sugar, salt and spices together.
    Add the vinegar slowly, stirring well.
    Pour the brine over the pickles and seal.
    Put in a cool, dark place.
    After a week they are ready to eat and you don't have to heat the brine.
