Coconut-Pecan Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. evaporated milk
    2/3 c. sugar
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1 egg, lightly beaten
    1 c. coconut
    1/2 c. pecans, chopped
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine milk, sugar, butter and egg in a saucepan.
    Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened and bubbly, about 12 minutes.
    Add coconut, pecans and vanilla.
    Cool until thick enough to spread, beating occasionally.
    Great on Betty Crocker German chocolate pudding-in-the-mix cake mix.
