Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. flour
1 c. corn meal
1/3 c. finely chopped onion
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 c. milk
1 tsp. baking powder

Preparation

Heat oil to 350\u00b0.
Mix all ingredients well.
Drop by large spoonfuls into deep fat fryer.
Fry until brown.
