Chili Con Carne - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. oil
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 lb. lean ground beef
2 c. canned tomatoes
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can tomato soup
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 bay leaf
1 Tbsp. chili powder
1 clove garlic, mashed
1 (16 oz.) can red kidney beans with liquid
Preparation

Heat oil in 10-inch skillet.
Brown pepper, onion and beef in oil, stirring occasionally.
Add next 6 ingredients.
Cover; simmer over low heat for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
(Add water if too thick.)
Then add garlic and beans with liquid and heat thoroughly.
Serves 6.
