Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    3 oz. pkg. strawberry Jell-O
    1 qt. fresh strawberries
    1 baked 9-inch pie shell
    8 oz. Cool Whip
Preparation
    Blend together cornstarch and sugar.
    Combine with water in saucepan.
    Cook until thickened, 3 to 5 minutes.
    Remove from heat; add Jell-O and stir until dissolved.
    Allow to cool.
    Spread berries in pie shell; slice, if desired.
    Pour cooled Jell-O mixture over berries.
    Chill for 2 to 3 hours.
    Garnish with Cool Whip at serving time.
