Old Fashion Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. shortening (lard or butter)
Preparation
    Rub shortening into flour.
    Use milk to make a stiff dough (about 3/4 cup).
    Shape into dumplings by rolling very thin and cut as needed. Cook about 12 to 15 minutes.
    Do not stir or remove.
    Cover until done.
