Fried Okra - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. cut-up okra
    2 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
    salt and pepper
    oil (enough to cover bottom of skillet)
    1 c. cornmeal
Preparation
    Mix okra and potatoes together.
    Add salt and pepper.
    Coat with cornmeal.
    Drop in a hot skillet with oil.
    Turn until browned.
    Put paper towels in bottom of bowl to absorb extra oil.
