Cheesy Corn Muffins - cooking recipe

1 c. flour
3/4 c. yellow cornmeal
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. shredded sharp cheese
1 c. milk
1/4 c. oil
poppy seed
Preparation

In mixing bowl, stir together flour, meal, sugar, baking powder and salt.
Combine egg, cheese, milk and oil; add to dry ingredients, stirring just until moistened.
Fill well-greased muffin pans 2/3 full.
Sprinkle with poppy seed.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
