Orange Pineapple Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. sugar
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
2 c. cold water
1 (6 oz.) pkg. orange Jell-O
1 (16 oz.) carton Cool Whip
1 c. grated sharp cheese
1 c. pecans
Preparation

Combine sugar and crushed pineapple.
Heat over low heat until just boiling.
Remove from heat and dissolve orange Jell-O and cold water.
Refrigerate until just beginning to jell.
Fold in Cool Whip, cheese and pecans.
Chill until firm.
