Lemon Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/3 c. sugar
    2/3 c. butter
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    3 eggs
    1 c. milk
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. vanilla or lemon extract
Preparation
    Beat butter until creamy. Add sugar slowly and mix well. Add eggs one at a time. Mix in sifted dry ingredients. Add milk. Mix in flavoring. Pour into three cake pans, 3x8 inch or 2x9 inch and bake at 375\u00b0.
