Stove Top Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. rice
    1 qt. milk
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 tsp. vanilla
    nutmeg (if desired)
Preparation
    Mix rice and milk; cook on low for 1 hour, stirring often. Remove from heat.
    Add sugar, vanilla and nutmeg, if desired. Serve warm or cold.
