All American Cheese Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. diced celery
1/4 c. shredded carrot
2 Tbsp. butter
1/3 c. flour
2 c. chicken broth
2 c. half & half
salt, pepper and red pepper (as you like)
8 oz. shredded sharp process American cheese
Preparation

Cook but do not brown onion, celery, carrot and butter.
Mix flour with chicken broth, then add to vegetable mix.
Add half & half, seasonings and cheese.
Cook and stir till cheese is melted and soup is heated through.
Do not boil.
