Meatballs And Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
    1/2 lb. fresh ground pork
    2 slices white bread, soaked in water and squeezed dry
    1/2 c. minced onion
    3 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
    1 large egg, slightly beaten
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. freshly ground pepper, divided
    pinch of nutmeg
    1 Tbsp. vegetable oil, divided
    1 can beef broth
    1 can chicken broth
    1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1/4 tsp. grated lemon peel
    1/4 tsp. thyme
Preparation
    Combine ground meats, bread, onion, parsley, egg, salt, 1/4 teaspoon pepper and nutmeg in a large bowl.
    Shape into 1 1/2-inch balls.
