Lucky Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 1/2 c. (6 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
    1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
    1/3 c. milk
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1 egg
    4 c. thin potato slices
    1 (9 oz.) pkg. frozen cut green beans, thawed
    1/3 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1/2 tsp. ground sage
Preparation
    Combine meat, 3/4 cup cheese, crumbs, milk, onion and egg; mix lightly.
    Shape meat mixture into 24 (1 1/2-inch) balls.
    Combine potatoes, beans, remaining cheese, flour, salt and pepper.
    Place in buttered 11 3/4 x 7 1/4 x 1 3/4-inch baking dish.
    Combine tomato sauce and sage; pour half of sauce over potato mixture. Bake in a preheated 350\u00b0 oven, 20 minutes.
    Place meat balls on potato mixture; top with remaining sauce.
    Bake 45 to 50 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
    Makes 6 servings.
