Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. self-rising flour
    2 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/4 c. warm water
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. shortening
    2 pkg. yeast
    2 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water.
    Sift together flour with other dry ingredients.
    Cut in shortening.
    Add buttermilk, then yeast mixture.
    Stir until all flour is moistened.
    Knead on floured board 1 or 2 minutes.
    Roll out or drop on a greased pan or tins.
    Store in refrigerator until needed.
    Pre-bake rolls 6 to 8 minutes or bake 12 to 15 minutes at 375\u00b0 to 400\u00b0.
    Yields 5 to 6 dozen.
