Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 c. plain flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1 pkg. dry yeast
1/2 c. warm water
3/4 c. shortening
2 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Dissolve yeast in warm water.
Let stand 5 minutes.
Sift together dry ingredients.
Cut shortening in with cutter or knives.
Add yeast.
Add milk gradually.
Mix well and roll out 1/4-inch thick and cut with biscuit cutter or roll and shape by hand.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
