Waldorf Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 oz. red food coloring
1 c. buttermilk
2 1/2 c. flour, sifted before measuring and sifted again
2 Tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients together.
Add liquid, then dry ingredients alternately, a little at a time.
Fold in 1 teaspoon vinegar and 1 teaspoon baking soda.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
