Never Fail Meringue - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    6 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    3 egg whites
    pinch of salt
    flavoring of choice
Preparation
    Mix cornstarch, sugar and water in a small saucepan.
    Cook until thick and clear (about 1 minute); stir while cooking.
    Beat egg whites until frothy; add salt and continue beating while slowly pouring cooled mixture over them.
    Add flavoring and continue to beat 5 minutes.
    Bake for 5 to 7 minutes.
