Nut Crisps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. shortening
    1 1/3 c. brown sugar
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 1/3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. chopped almonds
Preparation
    Cream shortening and 1/3 cup sifted sugar.
    Beat eggs until thick and lemon colored.
    Add remaining sifted sugar and continue beating.
    Combine the two mixtures and blend until smooth.
    Sift dry ingredients together and add chopped nuts.
    Chill.
    Drop by teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet and bake 8 to 10 minutes at 350\u00b0.
