Roman Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 c. sour milk
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. diced apples
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. nuts
1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
-
Sift flour, baking soda, salt and 2 teaspoons cinnamon together.
Mix all in first 5 ingredients.
Fold in apples.
Put in 9 x 13-inch pan and top with mixture of sugar, nuts and 1 teaspoon cinnamon.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
