New Irish Potato Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. small new potatoes
    2 qt. water
    1 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    pepper to taste
    1 c. sweet milk
    biscuit dough
Preparation
    Peel and quarter potatoes.
    Put in a 4-quart kettle along with the water.
    Add the salt and pepper, butter and milk.
    Boil until potatoes are tender.
    Roll biscuit dough 1/4-inch thick.
    Cut into 2-inch squares and drop into rapid boiling potato broth.
    Cook dumplings 2 minutes.
    Best served while hot.
