Delmonico Potatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 medium potatoes
4 Tbsp. butter
4 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 c. light cream
1 c. milk
2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
bread crumbs
Preparation

Boil potatoes until tender.
Dice; place in buttered casserole. In medium saucepan, melt butter.
Add flour, salt and pinch of pepper.
Stir until smooth.
Add milk and cream.
Gradually cook over low heat until thick and smooth.
Add 1 1/2 cups cheese.
Cook slowly until cheese is melted.
Pour over potatoes.
Top with bread crumbs and rest of cheese.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
