Ingredients

2 sticks butter or oleo
3 c. sugar
6 eggs
3 c. all-purpose flour, sifted
1 (6 oz.) pkg. frozen coconut, thawed
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. soda
1 c. sour cream
1 tsp. almond extract
Preparation

Preheat oven to 300\u00b0.
Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time.
Add flour, salt and soda that has been sifted together.
Add sour cream and fold in thawed coconut.
Add almond extract.
Bake in well-greased tube pan for 1 1/2 hours at 300\u00b0.
