Sweet Potato-Orange-Apple Casserole - cooking recipe

2 large cooked sweet potatoes (about 1 1/2 lb.)
2 cooking apples
1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
3 Tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. orange juice
1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Preparation

Remove skin from cooked sweet potatoes and slice potatoes 1/2 inch thick.
Peel, slice and core cooking apples.
In a buttered casserole dish, arrange layers of sweet potatoes and apples.
Dot each layer with butter, using about 1 tablespoon.
Combine brown sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over each layer.
Pour orange juice over all.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
Remove from oven and dot with additional tablespoon butter.
Place in oven again and bake 15 minutes.
