Grandma'S Persimmon Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    lump of butter size of egg
    1 egg
    1 qt. persimmons, heaping before running through colander
    1 tsp. soda
    4 c. milk
    4 c. flour
Preparation
    Cream sugar and butter.
    Add beaten whole egg.
    Press persimmons through colander.
    Add soda to pulp.
    Add to creamed mixture.
    Add milk and flour alternately, beating until smooth. Bake slowly for 1 hour at 275\u00b0 in greased Pyrex.
