Custard Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 beaten eggs
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 c. scalded milk
Preparation
    Beat the eggs, then add sugar, salt and vanilla.
    Pour scalded milk; stir and pour into 9-inch pie shell.
    Sprinkle nutmeg on top of pie before putting it into the oven.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes, when knife is poked into pie and comes out clean.
