Cracker Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. rolled saltine crackers
3/4 c. chopped walnuts
6 egg whites
3/4 tsp. cream of tartar
2 c. sugar
1 carton Cool Whip
1 can cherry pie filling
Preparation

Beat egg whites with cream of tartar.
Beat until stiff in peaks.
Beat in sugar slowly.
Fold in slowly the saltine crackers.
Add walnuts.
Spread into greased jelly roll pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
Cool.
When totally cool, spread Cool Whip on top and drop cherry pie filling on top of Cool Whip. Refrigerate cake and serve after it sets.
(Best if made the night before serving.)
