Pecan Cookie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    2 c. flour
    1 egg white
    2 sticks butter, room temperature
    pinch of salt
    1 cup pecans
Preparation
    Mix and spread on cookie sheet with sides.
    Mixture will be thick.
    Spread with spatula to wafer thin thickness.
    Pour egg white, unbeaten on mixture.
    Spread with fingers; pour off excess. Sprinkle 1 cup pecans over top. Bake at 300\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
    Cut while hot.
