Anniversary Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. water
    2 c. sugar
    juice of 6 lemons
    juice and zest of 2 oranges
    2 handfuls of spearmint leaves
Preparation
    Combine water and sugar. Bring just to a boil. Pour over the juices and zest, stir in spearmint leaves. Steep one hour; strain. To serve, combine 2 tablespoons of the syrup with 2/3 c. of ice and water.
