Easy Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef
    1 c. finely chopped onion
    9 c. wide egg noodles
    1/4 c. flour
    2 c. dairy sour cream
    3/4 c. water
    2 (4 oz.) cans mushrooms
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Brown ground beef with onion; drain.
    Cook noodles 6 to 7 minutes as package says; stir flour into ground beef mixture thoroughly.
    Add water, mushrooms, salt and pepper.
    Cook, stirring, until mixture is thickened.
    Reduce heat.
    Stir in sour cream.
    Serve sauce over cooked wide noodles.
    Serves 8.
