30-Day Sweet Cucumber Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. sliced cucumbers
    1/2 gal. vinegar
    4 lb. sugar
    1 Tbsp. pickling spice
Preparation
    Place sliced cucumbers in gallon jug.
    Cover with vinegar. Cover container.
    Allow to stand at room temperature 20 days.
    On day 21, pour off vinegar.
    Add sugar and pickling spice.
    Allow to stand at room temperature 10 more days, then ready to eat.
