Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter
    2/3 c. brown sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. dark Karo syrup
    3 beaten eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. pecans
    1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
Preparation
    Mix all of the ingredients together and put in unbaked pie shell.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 minutes and then 35 minutes at 350\u00b0. Total baking time is 45 minutes.
    This is a very old family recipe.
