Cuban Black Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 onion, finely chopped
    1/4 green pepper, chopped
    1 Tbsp. olive oil
    1/2 clove garlic, chopped
    2 cans black beans
    1 Tbsp. white sugar
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    white rice, cooked (to serve with beans)
Preparation
    Saute onion and green pepper in olive oil until tender.
    Add black beans, sugar and vinegar.
    Simmer 20 minutes.
    Serve with cooked white rice.
