Parmesan Mashed Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 to 6 red potatoes
    1/4 tsp. oregano
    1/4 tsp. chives
    1/8 c. onions, chopped
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
    sour cream
    salt
    1/4 c. bacon bits
Preparation
    Cut potatoes into cubes with the skin on.
    Cook potatoes in water, adding oregano, chives and chopped onions.
    Cook until potatoes are tender.
    Drain water.
    Add Parmesan cheese and butter.
    Mash potatoes, adding sour cream to the consistency you prefer.
    Salt to taste.
    Sprinkle bacon bits over the potatoes and serve.
