Fruit Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. water
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. strong tea
    1 c. cherries
    2 c. strawberry syrup or jam, heated
    juice of 5 lemons and 5 oranges
    1 c. crushed pineapple
    1 1/2 gal. ice water
    2 large bottles ginger ale
Preparation
    Boil water and sugar together 10 minutes. Add strong tea, cherries, strawberry syrup and lemon and orange juices.
    Stir in crushed pineapple and let stand 1/2 hour.
    Add ice water and ginger ale. Serves 50.
