Mexican Dip(Nacho Or Corn Chips) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
    2 small onions, chopped and stir-fried in butter
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    2 cans green chili peppers, chopped
    1 c. crushed tomatoes, strained
    2 lb. softened Velveeta cheese, melted in microwave
    1/4 tsp. oregano
    pinch of salt, basil and cumin
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together and serve warm.
    Can use as dip or pour over platter of chips and heat a can of Armour chili with beans and pour over top of cheese mixture.
    Sprinkle with fresh parsley, red pepper, chili peppers and/or sour cream.
