Ruth Griffin'S Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. boiling water
    1 c. oatmeal (instant)
    1 stick butter
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. brown sugar
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 c. flour, sifted
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Add boiling water to oatmeal.
    Let cool for 20 minutes.
    Cream butter and sugars.
    Add eggs, one at a time.
    Add remaining dry ingredients and oatmeal.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
