Bread And Butter Pickles(Keep In Refrigerator) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. sliced cucumbers
    3 or 4 sliced onions
    4 c. sugar
    4 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. salt
    1 1/3 tsp. turmeric
    1 1/3 tsp. celery seed
    1 1/2 tsp. mustard seed
Preparation
    Mix sugar, salt and vinegar (heat to make sugar and salt dissolve).
    Add turmeric, celery seed and mustard seed.
    Put sliced cucumber and onion in gallon jar.
    Pour liquid over them.
    In 3 to 5 days they are ready to eat.
    These will keep for months.
