Peach Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 eggs, beaten
    4 c. milk
    1 large can evaporated milk, chilled
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    6 c. peaches, crushed or blended
Preparation
    Mix 1 1/2 cups sugar, flour and salt in saucepan.
    Add beaten eggs and blend well.
    Stir in milk.
    Let cook slowly, stirring constantly, until slightly thickened.
    Let cool.
    Add evaporated milk, vanilla, peaches and remaining 1 cup sugar.
    Mix well.
    Fill freezer bucket.
    Add enough whole milk to fill to freezer line. Freeze.
    Makes one gallon.
