Wild Rice With Mushrooms And Almonds - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter
    1 c. wild rice
    1/2 c. blanched, slivered almonds
    2 Tbsp. chopped green onion
    2 (7 oz.) cans mushroom pieces and stems, drained
    3 c. chicken broth
Preparation
    Put all ingredients except broth, in a heavy skillet and cook oven medium heat for about 20 minutes or until the almonds are slightly brown.
    Stir often.
    Heat oven to 325\u00b0.
    When almonds are brown, add the chicken broth to the rice mixture.
    Pour into 1 1/2-quart baking dish.
    Cover tightly and bake 1 1/2 hours.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
