Sunbeam Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 cups cake flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1 1/4 tsp. salt
2 cups sugar
1 cup oleo or shortening
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 cup milk
3 eggs
9 tbsp. cocoa

Preparation

All ingredients at room temperature.
Sift flour, soda, salt, and cocoa together.
Cream oleo and sugar thoroughly.
Add eggs, one at a time.
Add flour and milk alternately beginning and ending with flour.
Add flavoring.
Bake in three cake pans (3 layers) 325\u00b0.
