Pot Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    chuck roast
    Lipton onion soup (dry)
    1 can mushroom soup
    salt
    pepper
    flour
    oil
Preparation
    Pat flour over roast and brown in oil.
    Place roast in large pot with lid.
    Combine onion soup, mushroom soup and 2 cups of water.
    Pour over roast.
    Cook several hours until tender. Thicken the soup for gravy before serving.
    Add carrots and potatoes last hour of cooking.
