Chocolate Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
2 1/2 heaping Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
3 egg yolks
2 c. milk
2 heaping Tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. sugar
Preparation

Combine sugar, cornstarch, salt and cocoa.
Add 1/2 milk (1 cup) and egg yolks.
Cook over medium heat until it begins to thicken; add rest of milk and cook until thick.
Add 1/2 cup butter.
Pour into cooked pie crust and top with meringue made of 3 egg whites and 1/4 cup sugar.
Bake until brown at 350\u00b0.
