Southern Sausage Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. herbed croutons
2 c. shredded cheese
2 lb. sausage
6 eggs
2 1/2 c. milk
1 can mushroom soup
1 small can mushrooms
3/4 tsp. dried mustard
Preparation

Place croutons in buttered casserole. Top with cheese.
Cook sausage and drain grease.
Put sausage on cheese.
Beat eggs.
Mix with remaining ingredients.
Pour over sausage and cheese. Refrigerate overnight.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours in a 9 x 14-inch casserole.
