Spice Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. cloves
1 c. milk
1/2 c. shortening
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs

Preparation

Cream shortening, sugar and eggs; set aside.
Mix dry ingredients in a separate bowl.
Add milk and dry ingredients to sugar mixture.
Pour into 9 x 13 cake pan and bake at 375\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
Good with chocolate cinnamon icing.
