Baked Custard - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
nutmeg
1 qt. whole milk, scalded
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Beat eggs.
Add sugar.
Slowly add scalded milk, stirring all the time. Add vanilla and pour into custard cups or pan and sprinkle with nutmeg.
Place in pan of hot water and bake in a 350\u00b0 oven until knife comes out clean when inserted.
Do not overbake.
