Sacher Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. butter
    3 sq. unsweetened chocolate
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    1 1/4 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. apricot jam
    2 sq. semi-sweet chocolate
Preparation
    Melt
    butter
    and unsweetened chocolate over hot water. Remove from heat and stir in sugar.
    Cool slightly.
    Add eggs, one at
    a time, blending well after each addition.
    Add flour and vanilla; mix
    well.
    Spread evenly in greased and floured waxed paper-lined 15
    x 10-inch jelly roll pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes or until squares spring back when lightly pressed.
    Cool
    in pan 10 minutes.
    Remove from pan and finish cooling on rack.
    Do not overbake.
