Tomato Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can or 1 pt. tomatoes
    1/2 c. water (more or less)
    1/2 c. flour
    1/3 c. cooking oil (bacon drippings may be used instead)
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Put cooking oil in skillet.
    Sprinkle flour on top of oil; stir as it browns.
    When brown, pour in tomatoes and water.
    Stir constantly until gravy is thick.
    Delicious with homemade biscuits.
