Beef Verde - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. stew meat
    1 large can green chili sauce
    1 can chopped black olives
    1 can stewed tomatoes
    1 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 onion, chopped
    2 cloves garlic, crushed
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Cut stew meat into small chunks.
    Brown meat, then add onion and garlic to saute.
    Add all other ingredients.
    Let simmer on low heat 4 to 5 hours (can also be made in crock-pot).
    Use a hand potato masher and mash cooked verde to shred meat and tomatoes. Serve when ready with flour tortillas and rice with sour cream. Also good to top potatoes with shredded Cheddar cheese.
