Waffled French Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. milk (may substitute flavored Coffee-mate)
    2 eggs
    1 Tbsp. butter, melted
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients in a shallow bowl.
    Dip day old slices of bread in mixture one at a time and plate on hot waffle iron.
    Cook until brown.
    Works better if the crust is trimmed from bread. Serve hot with butter, syrup and powdered sugar.
